Seated Banded Rows

Beginner, Upper body, Lats, 3 x 12 reps

How to do it

Seated row with the long loop wrapped around the feet.

You'll need

Steps

  1. Seated Banded Rows: side three-quarter seated extended legs slightly bent knees, loop wraps visibly behind feet and two strands lead to hands.

Sit tall with your legs extended and knees slightly bent. Place the long loop resistance band around the middle of the back of your feet, with the band running behind your feet. Hold both sides of the band with your arms extended in front of you.

  2. Seated Banded Rows: hands pull to waist with elbows close/back, torso stays tall.

Engage your core and pull the handles toward your waist. Keep your elbows close to your body and squeeze your shoulder blades together.

  3. Seated Banded Rows: hands at waist, relaxed shoulders and scapular squeeze cue.

Pause briefly when your hands reach your waist. Keep your chest lifted and shoulders relaxed. Chest up, elbows back and squeeze.

  4. Seated Banded Rows: arms extend toward feet while fixed foot wrap remains visible.

Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the planned number of repetitions.

Stop if you feel pain. This is general guidance, not medical advice.
