Lat Pull Down

Beginner, Upper body, Lats, 3 x 12 reps

How to do it

Kneeling or standing lat pull-down with a high-anchored long loop band.

You'll need

Steps

  1. Lat Pull Down: front three-quarter visible overhead anchor and both arms reaching up.

Anchor the long loop above head height. Hold both sides of the band with your arms reaching up.

  2. Lat Pull Down: elbows down beside body and hands at chest.

Engage your core and pull both elbows down toward your sides until your hands reach about chest height.

  3. Lat Pull Down: chest-height held pull with shoulders down guide.

Squeeze your lats and keep your chest lifted. Avoid shrugging.

  4. Lat Pull Down: arms reaching up toward fixed anchor.

Extend the arms back up with control and repeat.

Stop if you feel pain. This is general guidance, not medical advice.
