Beginner, Lower body, Glutes, 3 x 12 reps

How to do it

Standing squat with the long loop under the feet and held at the shoulders. Different from a short-loop squat.

You'll need

Steps

  1. Long Loop Squats: standing feet on loop, hands shoulder height.

Stand on the long loop with feet about hip-width apart. Hold the other ends at shoulder height.

  2. Long Loop Squats: side three-quarter squat with knees tracking toes and band paths.

Sit your hips back and down into a squat. Keep your chest lifted and knees in line with your toes.

  3. Long Loop Squats: bottom pause with loop tension.

Pause briefly at the bottom with tension on the band.

  4. Long Loop Squats: standing ascent with heel-pressure cue.

Drive through your heels to stand and repeat.

Stop if you feel pain. This is general guidance, not medical advice.
