Reverse Bridge

Beginner, Core, 3 x 30 sec

How to do it

Reverse tabletop / reverse bridge hold with a mini loop for extra hip tension.

You'll need

Steps

  1. Reverse Bridge: seated hands behind, fingers toward feet, feet positioned to form bent-knee bridge.

Sit on the mat with your hands behind you, fingers pointing toward your feet. Place the mini loop above your knees.

  2. Reverse Bridge: hips raised into shoulder-hip-knee line with knees bent and feet down.

Press through your hands and feet to lift your hips until your body forms a straight line from knees to shoulders.

  3. Reverse Bridge: held tabletop, band tension and neutral head cue.

Keep tension on the band and squeeze your glutes. Do not drop the head back heavily.

  4. Reverse Bridge: hold cue followed by controlled hip descent.

Hold for the planned time, then lower with control.

Stop if you feel pain. This is general guidance, not medical advice.
