Normal Plank In and Out with Resistance Bands

Intermediate, Core, 3 x 12 reps

How to do it

High plank with a short loop band above the ankles, stepping the feet out and in.

You'll need

Steps

  1. Normal Plank In and Out with Resistance Bands: high plank with above-ankle loop inset.

Start in a high plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your body in a straight line from head to heels. Place the latex short loop resistance band just above your ankles.

  2. Normal Plank In and Out with Resistance Bands: rear three-quarter sequential right-out then left-out footprints.

Engage your core and slowly step your right foot out to the right, followed by your left foot out to the left. Keep your hips as steady as possible and maintain your plank position.

  3. Normal Plank In and Out with Resistance Bands: right-in then left-in footprints.

Bring your right foot back in, followed by your left foot, returning to the starting plank position. Keep your body aligned and maintain tension on the band.

  4. Normal Plank In and Out with Resistance Bands: out/in footprint loop with level-hip guide, no jump depiction.

Continue stepping your feet out and in in a slow, controlled movement for the planned number of repetitions. Keep your core engaged and avoid lifting or dropping your hips.
