Toe Taps

Beginner, Core, 3 x 12 each side

How to do it

Tabletop toe taps on the yoga mat to train core stability.

You'll need

Steps

  1. Toe Taps: supine tabletop knees at 90 degrees arms down.

Lie on your back with your knees bent at 90° in a tabletop position. Keep your arms by your sides.

  2. Toe Taps: same tabletop with lower-back contact close-up.

Press your lower back into the mat and keep your core engaged.

  3. Toe Taps: one toe approaching floor while opposite leg remains tabletop, alternating ghost.

Slowly tap one toe to the floor, then return to tabletop. Alternate sides.

  4. Toe Taps: side view of low-back contact and short controlled leg arc.

Keep the movement small and controlled. Do not let your back arch.

Stop if you feel pain. This is general guidance, not medical advice.
